Visit the beautiful ancient pine forest of Glen Affric, tranquil but deeply historic Culloden Battlefield, the 4,000-year-old standing stones at Clava Cairns or take a stroll down the river bank to the waterfront to try to glimpse the wild dolphins that frequent the nearby Moray Firth. Famous Loch Ness lies just a few miles upstream and of course has its own special wild animal.
